Height Top Farm is a small working farm and we often have rare breed sheep and cattle grazing in our fields.
We make hay in one of the more traditional ways; small hay bales. We find them easier to handle and it avoids having to use very large machinery which can only be good for the environment! The smaller machinery is better for the land and for the old stone land drains on the farm, which we try to keep in good repair.
If you love walking we are the ideal place to stay with many local walks including a door-to-door figure of 8 walk that will show you the best of Sabden Valley. Cobden Farm, Sabden, Height Top Farm Circular (pdf)
